Introducing Wild Bar

I was fortunate to meet Wild Bar founder Jason Cook over 15 years ago when I first lived in the San Francisco Bay Area. Back then, a highlight of a night in the city was often hanging out with Jason for a cold drink at a dive bar or in a live music venue. Equally as exciting has been watching his entrepreneurial journey since. While some people wish or complain that their favorite restaurant or crossfit gym was built or managed a certain way, Jason is the person that will build it himself. Melding passions into a successful business is not easy but Jason has found a way to successfully achieve just that. It is not only evident in CrossFit Potrero Hill but in his personal life via his interests in art, music and jiu jitsu. Jason is a busy person, but he does so with composure and balance. He operates at a level and pace that most are not accustomed to, but that’s also why I’m not surprised to see him take on what might be his biggest launch yet - into the natural food protein bar business.

Wild Bar eptiomizes the balance and composure that is an ethos in Jason’s world. Each bar is plant based, has no more than 10 ingredients, is Paleo friendly, chef created and does NOT resemble a piece of thick rubber like many protein rich bars. In a Wild Bar you can visibly see all of the ingredients in front of you. Here’s my favorite part about the bars, you don’t need to be a finishing a workout, or be a strict “Paleo” dieter to enjoy one. You can mix these into the rhythm of a busy day as solid tasty fuel that is NOT going to feel like a sugar or gut bomb. There’s only one catch, the 12 bar packs are already sold out BUT fortunately there’s 6 packs available restock on the way.
