The Genesis

2016

Seeking a healthier lifestyle, cyclist Pat Miller began a fitness journey starting with local Cat 5 races progressing to UCI level events. The journey was contagious and lead to exciting industry partnerships and a team of like minded people.

By 2019 team members had captured multiple USAC cycling district championships and podium spots at Cyclocross Nationals and National Gravel races.

As our team continued to rake in accolades across multiple disciplines and age categories we felt the need to bring more to our community. We partnered with the best cyclocross race in the country www.charmcitycross.com and built a sister event in Northern Ca.

Coyote Valley Cross

Our multi year signature race featured over 250 athletes competing in categories of all ages and skill levels. Riders ranged from ages 4 to 72 and skill levels from first time amateurs to multi time USA National Champions. Racers competed from 30-60 minutes for the California State Championship Title across 20 different age and skill categories. The race was open to racers from across the country and had riders from Alabama, Colorado, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan and Wisconsin. The Elite/Pro Men's title was captured by Tobin Ortenblad from Santa Cruz, CA.  The Elite Women's Race was won by Catlin Bernstein of San Francisco, CA.

COVID TIMES

The FastForward Website becomes a grounding point for former teammates and sponsors as the much our country shut down races and events. We reinvented the kit and shifted to support each other from across the country by sporting our gear and staying connected on social media and Strava.
